The Swedish tractor manufacturer Bolinder-Munktell (BM) was formed in 1932 with the merger of Bolinder and Munktell, engine and tractor manufacturers respectively. Making tractor engines which became the mainstay of farming machinery until the 1970 when it was replaced with the Volvo BM brand name.
